To be honest, it’s a been quite a while since I’ve shopped at Sweaty Betty. A few years ago, I got fed up of the lack of representation in their models and social media images so decided to use my spending power to not support them.
As with many brands, they’ve pledged to do better and so far…well, so far so good. But time is the true testament.
Anyway, I was gifted a few pieces when I taught an IG class for them back in the Summer as part of Move For The Culture. And I did treat myself to one of their Gary Long Sleeve Jumpsuit’s which I absolutely looooooove.
What I’ve shopped (Nov 2018):
I had a voucher for SB for a couple of months and could not find anything I liked until they dropped their base layers.
I got asked about the feel and fit on Insta so will share here too… they are essentially made for skiing or snow boarding, so to go under your salopettes, but it means when you take off your salopettes for some apres-ski you still look pretty stylish. They’re not compression like at all; more akin to seamless leggings with a high waistband. They’re super soft to touch and really, really comfy.
I also picked up the most velvety soft roll neck jumper to pair with my star leggings. Now the temperature has really dropped it’s come in handy. Sweaty Betty also have lots of fab gift options so you can get your crimbo shopping done early.
